i will never know myself until i do this on my own - linkin park
Since I’m on leave from work for 2 months, I now have the luxury of time to sit back and watch TV. I must admit that this season is really filled with controversial characters. Occasionally, I get a glimpse of what is happening inside “the house” through the news (TV Patrol) and there are times when I am still awake for the “PBB UpLate” show. I’d like to share my views on HER. Filipinos, you should know who I am referring to.
Her name is Wendy. From the outside, I can say honestly she is a pretty girl. It helps that she also has a nice bod. She claims to be a beauty queen living in poverty.
She has gotten into lots of fights with her fellow housemates. She defends herself saying she is only being herself and she never acts like someone else just for the show. I applaud her for being true to herself. Unfortunately, the rest of this blog entry is all about negativity on how she presented herself.
I can relate to her in a way that I also hate it when people are being “plastic”. I also speak my mind and I don’t care what people say as long as I am right. The difference is that I have MANNERS.
Wendy, for Pete’s sake, you are on national television. The Filipino community in the country and abroad are watching your every move. I have nothing against “being-myself” thing, but you didn’t do it with finesse. In short, you were rude, disrespectful, selfish, bitchy and WRONG.
There was an episode wherein Big Brother asked the boys to decide who will pursue the task of finding the rings for the couple who will be wed inside the house. The boys went to the girls’ room and informed them of the new task. When Bruce, Wendy’s newly found boyfriend in the house, said that he was thinking of volunteering to do it, Wendy sulked and started doing those pouting things that really pissed me off. The boys went to the garden to make the decision, and Wendy suddenly opened the glass sliding door and started demanding why Bruce did not tell her that he wanted to do the task. See, the person who will do the task needs to go out of the house and needs to return with the rings within 24 hours. I mean, that was just RUDE. You know what she could have done?
“Excuse me boys, but I just want to talk to Bruce for a minute”. Now, this sounds like a person who has MANNERS. I mean, girl, you graduated from college acting like that? Shouting at your boyfriend like that, embarrassing him in front of everyone, literally! That behavior is so diva-like. Who are you? You think you’re a damn princess in the house? Bruce, you deserve a trophy for being patient with a girl who has a mouth more filthy than a dog. I bet even people who has never had an education has better manners than you do.
I laughed hysterically when they showed the part where Big Brother was talking to her when she went too far. She was being snotty to everyone in the house. Just because they voted your boyfriend out? Girl, this is a COMPETITION! You’re not in the house for a fashion shoot. It’s all part of the game! Uh, are you sure your college diploma is authentic? I’m ashamed that your college is my sister college. Sigh. Shame on you. I loved the part when she said she just does not like it when the other girls do not tell her off and they act like it is ok. She said she hates that because she is not like that. Big Brother told her gently that she should not expect everyone to act like her. EXACTLY! Thank you Big Brother for saying that! Why does everyone have to adjust for you? Are you God?
The Big Winner has been chosen at last. Congratulations to you Beatriz! I was rooting for Mickey, but hey I’m happy enough that Wendy didn’t win. Wendy dear, you deserve all the boos the crowd gave you. You said you can take it? Get ready then. The rest of us are still waiting in the shadows to attack you. You don’t even deserve the exposure you are getting.
Get back to school and learn some manners bitch!
Wow, this felt good!
